In the Information Centre and in the book areas the Library offers numerous internet work stations on terminals or PCs with different functions:
- 54 Internet terminals with OPen Office (Locations)
- 49 Internet PCs with MS Office (Locations)
- 3 Terminals - only for catalogue research (Locations)
- 2 special PCs for certain uses, some on-line and some only with a local network connection.
Tip: When you research on the internet the user data is saved. More information under "Data Protection"
Print jobs from almost all of the terminals and PCs can be printed at any copy-print station.
To edit texts, calculate tables and make presentations there is Open Office installed on the terminals and MS Office and Open Office are on the PCs. With Open Office you can still work on MS Office data and even save it in the corresponding MS office format (.doc, .xls, .ppt, etc.). See also University CiP Pools.
On special PCs it is possible to scan documents.
