The Media Centre and reading room are open:
Monday - Friday: 8:00 - 21:30 (9:30 p.m.), Saturday: 9.00 - 19.00 (7:00 p.m.) In August and September there are different opening hours that are detailed here.

The Media Centre is spread over two levels in the Library's Information Centre.
The Media Centre is organized according to the same systematic open stacks arrangement as the rest of the Library's collection. So, you can easily get an overview of your discipline's media collection.
Media offered:
There is also AV material in the book areas organized by subject.
Finding AV Media: - In the catalogue you can limit your search results to show only specific types of media.
- You can also search for audiovisual material using the MedioVis search system
- The items in the Media Centre are differentiated from the rest of the Library's collection because their call numbers always begins with 6.
- In the upper level of the Media Centre, you will find media material directly related to different disciplines and arranged in alphabetical order according to their acronyms (alg, bio, che, deu...)
- It is also easy to search directly on the shelves, because the media collection is arranged using the same call numbers as in the book areas. If you know, for instance, where "Goethe's Faust" is in printed form, related films and other media will have the same call number in the Media Centre as filmed/recorded literature. The films that begin with the call letters tff are arranged alphabetically according to director.
- There is a special collection only for filmed newspapers (call letter M) and dissertations on microfilm (call letter P).
Using the media:
The Media Centre also has the necessary equipment for using any of the material there.
We offer:
The Media Centre staff will gladly assist you in using the different machines.
