Since April 2007 the University of Konstanz Library has offered campus-wide access to RefWorks. For members of the university community the access is free of charge. You must set up your own personal account (with your usual library user number and the corresponding password) and can then get started immediately.
RefWorks is a web-based program, with which you can easily research, organize and integrate literature into a text and build a bibliography. Thus making RefWorks useful for both students who are writing a lengthy thesis or final paper, as well as for academics, who want to organize bibliographical data for their research. But the program can be used by anyone who wants to compile an electronic "box of notes" and needs a place to keep structured and bundled information.
RefWorks is an online software. You only need internet access. It is not necessary to install any software. Accordingly, RefWorks works cross-platform and only requires a modern browser. When conducting research you can arrange an export to your RefWorks Bibilography out of most catalogues and databases (and out of Google Scholar) with a click. Because the database is online you can access it everywhere: you can also export your bibliographical data, so you can also work on it offline.
You can find more information here and there is more English information on the RefWorks website.
